Pro tips for a smooth first start-up — hand them to whoever does the install:

• Torque converter must be fully seated (three distinct clicks/drops) before bolting to the engine to avoid cracking the internal oil pump.
• Strict fluid-fill temperature window: final fluid level check must be performed with the engine running and fluid temperature strictly between 35°C and 45°C (do not exceed 50°C).
• Subframe alignment: removing the subframe cross-brace can alter front-end alignment. New stretch bolts must be torqued to factory specifications.
