- AWD Transfer Case Spline Lubrication: Clean and apply high-pressure spline grease to the intermediate shaft splines to prevent moisture intrusion and stripping.
- Temperature-Sensitive Fluid Level Check: Fluid level must be checked with the engine running and transmission warm (70°C to 80°C / 158°F to 176°F) after cycling through gears. Checking cold leads to overfilling.
