- Cooler Line Contamination: Failing to flush the external cooler lines will introduce metal debris from the failed unit, causing immediate failure of the replacement.
- Fluid Level Check Procedure: No dipstick is present. Level must be checked via the overflow plug/standpipe with fluid temperature strictly between 35°C and 45°C (95°F to 113°F) while idling on a level surface.
- Subframe Alignment: Mark subframe alignment before lowering to prevent steering wheel off-center issues.
