It fits front-wheel drive vehicles with a 2.0L engine and automatic transmission. Ford service states it is mandatory to replace the attaching bolt when this part is installed. Do not pull the harmonic balancer unless absolutely necessary because the lower timing gear is not keyed to the crankshaft. If the motor is spun over with the harmonic balancer off, the valve timing will be thrown off and cause bent valves.
