- Subframe Alignment Dowels: Ensure the subframe is perfectly aligned with chassis dowels upon reinstallation to prevent steering misalignment.
- Protecting Axle Seals: Be extremely careful not to nick or tear the rubber lips of the new axle seals with the CV axle splines during insertion.
- Bellhousing Dowel Pins: Ensure the two alignment dowel pins are present in the engine block before mating the transmission to avoid cracking the case.
