- No dipstick fluid fill: Fluid level must be checked via the check plug on the side of the case with the vehicle level, engine running, and fluid temperature between 180°F and 205°F (85°C to 95°C).
- A comprehensive flush of the transmission cooler lines is mandatory to prevent debris from contaminating the replacement unit.
- When servicing the valve body, do not remove the specific bolt holding the valve body halves together, as it will cause check balls to fall out.
