• Inspect for Moisture Evidence: Look closely inside the lens for a 'water line'—a faint line left behind by standing water. Check for any haziness or film on the inside of the lens. These are red flags that the seal is bad and the unit will likely fog up again.

This is one of the easiest repairs you can do. The only tool you might need is a plastic trim tool or a flathead screwdriver wrapped in tape to prevent scratching the paint.

1. Access the Light: The side marker assembly is designed to pop out from the fender. Carefully push the light from one side to disengage the clips holding it in place. Some find it easier to gently pry from the edge.
